FOLIC ACID IS IMPROPER THERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF PERNICIOUS ANEMIA AND OTHER MEGALOBLASTIC ANEMIAS WHERE VITAMIN B12 IS DEFICIENT. FOLIC ACID ABOVE 1MG DAILY MAY OBSCURE PERNICIOUS ANEMIA IN THAT HEMATOLOGIC REMISSION CAN OCCUR WHILE NEUROLOGICAL MANIFISTATIONS PROGRESS.
